		<description>I am the Communications and Partnerships Manager for Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI). And you will have spotted the anomaly - We are not a Zoo! BGCI represents over 800 member organisations, most botanic Gardens (BG&#039;), in 120 countries. BG&#039;s face similar issues as zoo&#039;s vis-à-vis fundraising and represent similar opportunities for funders. They also, in many ways, represent the &#039;other side&#039; of the coin from Zoo&#039;s (representing the plants that animals rely on to survive). I look forward to using this forum to share experiences and knowledge!</description>
