And you will have spotted the anomaly - We are not a Zoo! BGCI represents over 800 member organisations, most botanic Gardens (BG'), in 120 countries. BG's face similar issues as zoo's vis-à-vis fundraising and represent similar opportunities for funders. They also, in many ways, represent the 'other side' of the coin from Zoo's (representing the plants that animals rely on to survive).
