I am the Communications and Partnerships Manager for Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI). And you will have spotted the anomaly – We are not a Zoo! BGCI represents over 800 member organisations, most botanic Gardens (BG’), in 120 countries. BG’s face similar issues as zoo’s vis-à-vis fundraising and represent similar opportunities for funders. They also, in many ways, represent the ‘other side’ of the coin from Zoo’s (representing the plants that animals rely on to survive). I look forward to using this forum to share experiences and knowledge!

Hi Per, and nice to hear from you.
I suspect the vast majority of info on the forum will be of relevance to the Botanic Gardens community. Hope to see as much interactivity as possible, so will be delighted to see any comments from you and your members.
